He also completed his MBA in International Business, with distinction, from Coventry University in the United Kingdom.
Abdulbaset achieved his qualification in marketing, with distinction, from the British Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) with whom he attained Chartered Marketer status.
Abdulbaset’s work experience started in 1993 where he worked in a number of sectors including private businesses, multinational companies and the charity sector. During his employment, he has held high board and executive positions in a number of organizations, where he developed and oversaw the development of strategies, policies and procedures.
For over a decade, Abdulbaset has been working as an international trainer, coach and consultant in the field of Leadership, Management, Strategic Planning, Marketing and other related areas including Training of Trainers (TOT). He is PRINCE2 accredited and is certified to train Project DPro developed by PM4NGOs. In leadership, he is accredited by Adair Leadership Academy to deliver Action Centred Leadership on all levels; Teams, Operational, and Strategic. He is also an accredited Coach in leadership and management.
In the field of organizational assessment and development, Abdulbaset is an Accredited Excellence Model Assessor using EFQM Excellence Model, by the British Quality Foundation (BQF), and he also uses the PQASSO model by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) to assess the capacity of humanitarian organizations.
Abdulbaset’s collective experience covers around 30 years of working with a variety of organizations across the world, including, but not limited to, the UN agencies, ministries, charity commissions, INGOs, CBO, local NGOs, as well as the corporate businesses in various industries. To date, Abdulbaset has conducted his training, coaching and consulting services in English and Arabic where individuals and institutions of countless nationalities from five continents have benefitted from his skills and expertise. In addition to training, coaching, and consulting services, he provides Quality Assurance on trainers and training packages.
